Consisting of 12 members, we are a non-profit, fully volunteer-based organization made up of windsurfers with a vision.

Our anchor event, the annual Singapore Open is the largest windsurfing event in Singapore and attracts partcipants from all over the world.
THE MISSION
Windsurfing Association of Singapore's mission is to raise the profile of windsurfing in Singapore. From raising the skill level of existing windsurfers through competition, to making the sport more appealing to the general public, Windsurfing Association of Singapore promotes interest in windsurfing among Singaporeans.

Mark your calendar for the WAS fun event for the year!
RACE FOR LIFE - 2017: A Passage Race from Constant Wind to Aloha Sea Sport Centre and back.
Sunday 10 December 2017. 10am.
Drinks at Aloha, Lunch at the hawker centre and back to Constant Wind for the prize giving and small makan. Current WAS members pay only $5 to race. Joining members pay only $10 to race.

37th Singapore Open
Windsurfing Championships 2018
An annual competition organised by the Windsurfing Association of Singapore, the Singapore Open Windsurfing Championship is the biggest event on the local windsurfing calendar. The past year's event was the continental qualifier for the 2014 Youth Olympic Games - with 3 places available in both the Techno 293 boys and girls events.
Northeast Monsoon Grand Prix 2015
Held during the prevailing winds of the northeast monsoon during the start of the year, this competition spans out across 3 series. Expect fierce competition between national, local windsurfers and tertiary windsurfers.
